Deadpool star Karan Soni has teased the sheer amount of crowd-pleasing Marvel cameos that we will see in Deadpool & Wolverine. Speaking with Variety, Soni, who will reprise the role of reliable taxi driver Dopinder in the MCU outing, has declared that there are plenty of surprises in store when the movie lands in theaters in July.

“This new MCU version is ultra-secretive. There are a lot of surprises. Let’s just say a lot of people traveled to London.”

Soni certainly makes it sound like Deadpool & Wolverine will feature a lot of cameos, revealing that “a lot of people” traveled to London, one of the places where filming on the movie took place. So, while it has been confirmed that the likes of Aaron Stanford’s Pyro, Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, and the X-Men mutants Sabretooth and Toad will feature, it sounds like there will be many more cameos than that as Deadpool travels through the multiverse.

The actor and comedian also revealed how long Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has been thinking (and, apparently, planning) about bringing X-Men and Logan star Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine.

“When we were making the second one, Ryan was plotting back then. I remember him spilling that at lunch one day that he had started a conversation with Hugh. I remember saying, ‘People are going to flip out!’ Then the studio got sold to Disney and a lot of other stuff happened. But, of course, Ryan followed through because it was dream casting.”

The recent, record-breaking trailer for Deadpool 3 reveals that it will indeed center on the madness of the multiverse, as Wade Wilson is tasked with saving, well, everything by the Time Variance Authority.
