Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling proved once again that he more than ‘Kenough’ as his performance of the Barbie anthem ‘I’m Just Ken’ stole the show at the 96th Academy Awards. Gosling began his live performance of the hit song from his position in the audience before taking to the stage to blow everyone away with his magnetic stage presence and genuine good humor.

Backed by 65 other “Kens,” including his Barbie co-stars Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Ncuti Gatwa, as well as Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash and musician Mark Ronson, Gosling’s I’m Just Ken may not have won a golden statue, but it certainly won the crowd. The Oscars performance has many now calling for it to be Gosling’s turn to win an Academy Award, with others declaring the 96th Academy Awards the best in years.
