All Marvel Shows Releasing After Agatha All Along

Ever since the release of WandaVision back in 2021, fans have been eagerly awaiting the much-anticipated spin-off. Agatha All Along is releasing this September, and will officially be part of the fifth Phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, joining the long list of MCU television series. Although many feared the MCU would begin its decline into the abyss after the perceived peak of phrases three and into four, fans are happy to hear that it remains strong. Moreover, there are many on-screen adventures planned after Agatha All Along to keep audiences entertained.

Releasing on Disney+, Kathryn Hahn is reprising her role as the witch Agatha Harkness, who was the original antagonist from WandaVision. There is some hope that at some point Hahn’s character will make her way deeper into the MCU, possibly on the big screen. But for now, her television series has been gaining considerable hype since its development was announced to have begun back in 2021.

With Phase Five well underway, there are still some television projects set to be released after Agatha All Along, and into 2025. While there are yet to be any concrete announcements concerning which projects are set to be in Phase Six of the MCU, future projects have nevertheless been announced and set for release in the future.

Marvel Shows to End Phase Five

Agatha All Along fits perfectly into the mid-way point of television releases in MCU’s phase five. Before that, we saw the release of Secret Invasion in June 2023, following Nick Fury and Talos. A few months later, Loki‘s second season was released, shortly followed by the second season of What If…?, both highly anticipated continuations. Finally, Echo was released this January, picking up from where the events of Hawkeye left off in 2021. Currently, this brings fans up to date with Marvel shows, with Agatha All Along set to end this November.

Eyes of Wakanda

Announced in December 2023 for release sometime before 2024 comes to a close, Eyes of Wakanda is set to be the MCU’s next television release. Also expected to stream on Disney +, Eyes of Wakanda will consist of four episodes, telling the story of Wakandan warriors throughout history who have worked to recover dangerous vibranium artifacts.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Also set for release this year is Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Set up as an origin story for Peter Parker and into the early days of the superhero, the series was originally announced in 2021 under the name Spider-Man: Freshman Year. In what should come as good news to many, the show is set to be animated in such a style as to pay homage to the early Spider-Man comics, bringing something fresh and exciting to the MCU’s fifth phase.

Daredevil: Born Again

Moving onto releases set for 2025, Daredevil: Born Again has been given 18 episodes, confirmed to split the season in half. The second half of the season has yet to be assigned a release date, however. After his appearance in the 2015 Netflix show, Charlie Cox is scheduled to reprise his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil.

Ironheart

To end the television additions to the MCU’s fifth phase is Ironheart. Dominique Thorne is set to reprise her role as Ironheart from 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Premiering sometime in 2025, Ironheart will be set after the events of Wakanda Forever.

The MCU is always thinking ahead about their future projects, which is a great thing for fans, even if it means uncertainty regarding release dates. There is a rough plan, however, for what is to come next. Thankfully, the MCU is planning to continue on from Agatha All Along with a currently untitled television story centered on Vision. Originally named Vision Quest, the show has very little information aside from a release date sometime in 2026.

The list of Marvel shows set for release after Phase Five all come without an expected release date, and equally, a lack of information. This may simply be due to recent announcements from Marvel regarding new Avengers films in the works taking priority at the moment. Nevertheless, the list of future MCU shows does look interesting, including both new projects and follow-up seasons.

New shows teased include an untitled Wakanda series, which is most likely going to be centered around Danai Gurira’s character, Okoye. Gurira has signed a deal already to take part in the show, and it is likely to be an origin story. Also announced is Marvel Zombies, following on from a plot point from an episode of What If…?.Wonder Man is another on the list, teased as a comedy show, with Ben Kingsley, who has been confirmed to reprise his role as Mandarin from Iron Man 3. Finally, an untitled Nova series has been discussed for release sometime before 2029.

Both Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and What If…? have been given the green light to release follow-up seasons.
