It’s been quite some time since a major installment of Star Wars was released, and fans are already getting impatient. Fortunately, a new Star Wars series is approaching its release date. The Acolyte, which stars Amandla Stenberg, Dafne Keen, and Jodie Turner-Smith, is an upcoming Star Wars series set in the final days of the High Republic Era.
Chronologically, the series takes place 100 years before Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. As a result, viewers will be introduced to numerous new characters, with no known characters expected to feature in the series. The official synopsis described by Disney+ is as follows:

The first two episodes of The Acolyte will be available on Disney+ on June 4. The remainder will air weekly until July 16, 2024.
