First Look at GRRM’s In the Lost Lands Starring Dave Bautista and Milla Jovovich Revealed

George R.R. Martin, renowned globally as the author of the hugely popular Song of Ice and Fire novels that spawned the cultural phenomenon Game of Thrones on HBO, has seen numerous books adapted for the screen, but primarily for television. However, this trend is set to change with the recent acquisition of the U.S. rights to In the Lost Lands by Vertical. The movie, titled the same as the book, will mark the writer’s first major theatrical adaptation in many years. The exciting development is accompanied by a first-look image.

In the Lost Lands is a captivating tale that follows the powerful witch Gray Alys, who is sent on a perilous mission by a queen who is desperate to gain the ability to transform into a werewolf. She is accompanied by a mysterious drifter named Boyce, and together, the two venture into the Lost Lands, a treacherous place filled with ruthless enemies and scary creatures. Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, who is known for his work on the Resident Evil series, this adaptation stars Milla Jovovich and Dave Bautista as Gray and Boyce. Below is the first-look image from the film.
