Jimmy Kimmel Bashes Donald Trump’s Debate Performance with Inside Out Meme

Jimmy Kimmel doesn’t pull any punches when it comes to taking shots at Donald Trump, and Tuesday night’s presidential debate gave him the perfect opportunity to win the internet thanks to the debate streaming on Disney+.

Kimmel and Trump have sparred in public on many occasions, most notably when Kimmel read out one of the former president’s Truth Social posts while hosting the Oscars. The post by Trump called out Kimmel as the worst host in the history of the Academy Awards, and Kimmel basked in the laughter of the audience as he ridiculed Trump live on air. The late-night talk show host also weaponized his show’s monologue following the result of Trump’s recent criminal trial in May.

Now Kimmel has once again used the power of social media to poke fun at Trump, delivering a comical jab via the use of some Disney magic. Using images of Inside Out characters Anger and Joy, Kimmel put the two together within a framing from the broadcast of the debate. The result is pretty self-explanatory, as you can see in the post below.

The Presidential Debate has Drawn Hollywood Out in Support of Kamala Harris

As well as a ringing endorsement from a certain Taylor Swift, the presidential debate led to a huge wave of support for Democratic candidate, and current VP, Kamala Harris from many Hollywood stars. From Marvel star Mark Ruffalo, to Star Wars legend Mark Hamill, the celebrity endorsements for Harris to be the next president were clear to see.

Ruffalo, who has previously been vocal of his opposition to Donald Trump regaining the presidency, commented:

“Honestly, I was anxious about this debate but what is clear is that Kamala not only has a vision for the future and lifting America up but she is just so much even-tempered and so much smarter that Trump. She crushed him.”

Following this, director Rob Reiner noted that he had seen the next president on stage “and her name is Kamala Harris.”Abbott Elementary star Sheryl Lee Ralph slammed Trump as being “weak, stupid and delusional.” Nick Offerman, who has made it very clear in the past where his loyalties lie, was unsurprising with his comment that the debate was a “good old-fashioned ass-whupping.”

Of course, there were many celebrities that were just as vocal about Donald Trump the last time he ran for office, and indeed the time before that when he did succeed in becoming one of the most powerful men in the world. Out in the real world, there are still many who support former President Trump, and they will be out in numbers come polling day.

In the meantime, the internet continues to deliver plenty of moments to savor on the back of what has been reported by many to be Kamala Harris’ first decisive win over Trump. However, there is still a long way to go for both parties before we discover who will be spending the next four years in the Oval Office.
