The Academy Awards Has a Fan Experience This Oscars Weekend

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, in collaboration with ABC and Amazon Fire TV, will launch an exclusive fan experience celebrating the 96th Oscars®. Museum attendees, film fans, locals, and visitors are invited to experience this exclusive, fan photo-op installation free to the public.

Guests will encounter an installation of life-size Oscar® statues on display soaring atop an elevated platform. They will also be invited to pose for a shareable video of their “big Hollywood moment” captured by a wide-lens camera. In the evening, integrated lighting will throw gorgeous shadows throughout the space, maintaining visibility for the installation post-sunset. The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures will also be hosting a grand, one-of-a-kind evening celebrating the 96th Oscars on Sunday, March 10, from 3 to 8pm. A ticket includes hors d’oeuvres (3-5pm) and tacos (5-6pm) from Wolfgang Puck Catering, wine from Clarendelle & Domaine Clarence Dillon, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ official wines, and select cocktails and beers. With Oscars Night at the Museum, you can party in luxury while you watch the Academy Awards. You can also get exclusive access to the fan experience installation, since access on Sunday (between 3pm and 8:30pm PT) is only available to Oscars Night at the Museum ticket holders.
