Lots of anticipated releases this week and guest appearances on late-night TV. Chris Pratt will be on to talk about his experience playing a childhood favorite character on the big screen in The Garfield Movie. Amy Poehler will sit on the couch ahead of Inside Out 2‘s premiere and Jennifer Lopez will discuss her acting credit in an upcoming Netflix sci-fi film.

Network: ABC, Hulu | Time: 11:35 pm EDT

Shortly after putting out This Is Me…Now: A Love Story, a fictional narrative loosely inspired by her love life, Jennifer Lopez is now promoting another onscreen project. She stars in Atlas, a Netflix production that follows a data analyst who must rely on AI to survive a mission to protect the world from a renegade robot. Lopez will be a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about the film, and she isn’t the only anticipated guest sitting joining the late night talk show this week. Tony Goldwyn will talk about working with Robert De Niro in Ezra, Amy Poehler will discuss voicing Joy once again in Inside Out 2, and Kevin Costner will share more on his latest Western entitled Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1. HARDY will be performing on Tuesday and Slash will be sitting in with the show’s band from Monday to Wednesday.

The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon

Network: NBC, Peacock l Time: 11:35 p.m. EDT

Chris Pratt is leaving dinosaurs and the galaxy behind, and is on his way to voicing Garfield in an upcoming film. TheGarfield Movie comes out on Friday, and the actor will stop by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday to share more about his experience playing the beloved feline on the big screen. Other guests that will be on the show this week include Eddie Redmayne talking about his Tony nomination for the role of Emcee in the Broadway revival of Cabaret, Rose Byrne sharing about her onset experiences on Ezra and playing the lead in Apple TV +’s Physical, Jeremy Renner opening up about his recovery journey after a life-threatening accident and his return to the screen in Mayor of Kingstown Season 3, and Paul Reiser chatting about writing a memoir about Michael McDonald called What a Fool Believes. Zayn, the Avett Brothers, Tems, and Red Clay Strays will also be performing this week.

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert

After getting a 6-minute standing ovation at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth will be on Late Show with Stephen Colbert to talk about their roles in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. In addition to the two actors, Billie Eilish will pull off double duty on Tuesday as guest and performer. The Oscar-winning singer released her third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, last week and will be discussing the creative process behind her new music. Like Redmayne, Sarah Paulson also garnered a Tony nomination for her work in Broadway’s Appropriate, and will surely talk about the play in her late night talk show appearance. Comedian Paul Scheer will also talk about his new book, Joyful Recollections of Trauma, which addresses his difficult childhood, his acting ventures in shows like Veep and Grace & Frankie, and his parenting experience.

Seth Meyers is off this week, but there will be re-runs of recent episodes of the talk show. The host will take a two-week break, and fans will likely be able to hear from him on his two podcasts, Family Trips with the Meyers Brothers and The Lonely Island & Seth Meyers Podcast. The coming days will allow viewers to re-watch or catch up on older episodes of the late night program, which include appearances from Kirsten Dunst talking about Civil War and how it sheds light on the fragility of U.S. democracy, Kristen Wiig sharing her experience playing opposite Carol Burnett in Apple TV +’s Palm Royale, Harry Potter alum Daniel Radcliffe discussing his Broadway show Merrily We Roll Along, and Joe Manganiello chatting about his hosting duties on NBC’s game show Deal or No Deal.

Network: Comedy Central l Time: 11 p.m. EDT

The full lineup of this week’s hosts for The Daily Show hasn’t been revealed yet, but given last week’s news, it is certain that Jon Stewart will be on this Monday. The host used to be a regular on Thursdays, but will now return to his usual Monday night post. Stewart recently answered a question from an audience member about the best advice he’s ever received, to which he referenced David Letterman‘s appearance on the final episode of The Jon Stewart Show. Letterman told Stewart on air to not “confuse cancelation with failure”.
