The Perfect Couple (Limited Series)

Based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Elin Hilderbrand, The Perfect Couple is a mystery drama about the Winbury family, and the young woman, Amelia (Eve Hewson), set to marry into the wealthy Nantucket family. With a matriarch named Greer (Nicole Kidman), who disapproves of the match, the complexities of a complicated family are bound to boil over.


To make matters worse, disaster strikes when a body is found on the beach and halts the lavish wedding mere hours before it can even begin. With everyone now a suspect, secrets are revealed as the stress of police interrogation reveals that no couple is perfect. The series includes performances by Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning, Jack Reynor, and Billy Howle. The Perfect Couple is streaming on Sept. 5.


Jack Whitehall: Fatherhood with My Father (Limited Series)

Jack Whitehall: Fatherhood with My Father is an unscripted series that follows the comedian and actor Jack Whitehall and his father, Michael, as they embark on a journey of discovery ahead of Jack’s impending fatherhood. On the heels of his previous five-season series, Travels with My Father, his latest show will embody the same adventurous spirit.

As Jack and Michael travel the world, the pair will examine what it means to be a dad across the globe. Along the way, they’ll discuss the kind of father Michael was for Jack and the type of dad Jack hopes to be to his daughter. With personal anecdotes, Michael doesn’t shy away from the scary parts of being a parent. However, he counters such stories with plenty of heartwarming humor fans of Jack are familiar with. Jack Whitehall: Fatherhood with My Father is streaming on Sept. 10.


Emily in Paris (Season 4 – Part 2)

The romantic comedy Emily in Paris returns with the second part of its fourth season, and fans of the series couldn’t be more excited to pick up where Emily (Lily Collins) and her personal life left off. As her relationship with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) becomes official, her love life appears to be on the right track. However, when Camille (Camille Razat) discovers she was never actually pregnant with Gabriel’s baby, she decides to keep it a secret, which will likely set the stage for Part 2 of Season 4. Plus, after Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) kissed someone at the masquerade ball that he thought was Emily, his continued feelings for her will likely complicate matters even more. Emily in Paris Season 4 Part 2 is streaming on Sept. 12.


Twilight of the Gods (Season 1)

Created by Zack Snyder, Eric Carrasco, and Jay Oliva, Twilight of the Gods is an adult-animated series rife with blood and gore based on Norse mythology. With music by Hans Zimmer, the show chronicles the epic tale of a warrior named Sigrid (Sylvia Hoeks) and a mortal king named Leif (Stuart Martin). After saving Leif on the battlefield, Sigrid and Leif fall in love and decide to marry. However, on their wedding day, the couple encounters the wrath of Thor (Pilou Asbæk), who destroys the event, which ultimately sends the duo on a vengeful rampage.


Against all odds, they gather a band of other warriors and embark on a mission to find Thor and fight him. On a merciless quest for revenge, they’ll partake in the preeminent battle against evil, the forces of nature, and the Giants. The series includes the voices of John Noble as Odin, Paterson Joseph as Loki, Rahul Kohli as Egill, Peter Stormare as Ulfr, Jamie Chung as Hel, and Lauren Cohan as Inge. Twilight of the Gods is streaming on Sept. 19.


Nobody Wants This (Season 1)

Created by Erin Foster, whose personal life inspired the premise of the show, Nobody Wants This is a comedy series that follows Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody) as the two develop an unexpected relationship. He’s an unconventional, rogue rabbi, and she’s a loud, outspoken woman who shares a podcast with her sister as they revel in the notion of being alone together forever. The series chronicles Joanne and Noah’s unlikely relationship with genuine heart and charm while offering plenty of laughs.


In a world where being miserable is easy and choosing happiness is difficult, the show highlights the complications that can emerge after finding the right person. The series also stars Justine Lupe as Morgan, Joanne’s quick-witted sister, and Timothy Simons as Sasha, Noah’s eccentric older brother who likes to live vicariously through his “golden child” of a sibling. The show’s recurring cast includes Jackie Tohn, Michael Hitchcock, Paul Ben-Victor, and Sherry Cola. Nobody Wants This is streaming on Sept. 26.
