Not only did the Japanese period epic Shogun make history with 25 Emmy nominations, the most of any series this year, but it also broke records in Emmy wins by taking home 18 prizes, more than any other show in a single cycle. It also followed Squid Game as the second non-English-language show to be recognized in the best drama category. In addition to streaming the awards show on Hulu, TV lovers can catch up on all the Emmy winners and nominees in the drama category on Netflix, Prime Video, Max, Apple TV+ and Hulu. (You can do the same for this year’s award-winning comedies and limited or anthology series.)
The 76th Emmy Awards aired live on ABC from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 15. The event was hosted by Schitt’s Creek stars Eugene and Dan Levy, marking the first time a father-son duo led the ceremony. The Creative Arts ceremonies, where a majority of the Emmy trophies were handed out, took place on Saturday, Sept. 7, and Sunday, Sept. 8.
In order to be eligible for the 2024 Emmys, television programming had to air between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024.

Peter Morgan’s Emmy-winning Netflix drama starts its sixth and last season with a four-episode arc followed by the final six installments that bring the British royal family into the mid-2000s, ending on the wedding of Charles and Camilla.
