Inside Out TV Series Coming to Disney+ in 2025

A new series set in the world of Inside Out is coming to Disney+.

At Disney’s D23 conference Friday night, Pixar boss Pete Docter announced that the series, Dream Productions, would hit the streaming service in 2025.

The series will follow the “dream factory” inside of Riley’s head. It is set in between the events of Inside Out and Inside Out 2, with Docter describing the series as “an in-betweenquel.”

It is not immediately clear if any of the characters from inside Riley’s head in the Inside Out films will appear in the series. The films starred Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, and Lewis Black as Anger, joined in the sequel by Maya Hawke as Anxiety, Ayo Edebiri as Envy, among other characters.

Dream Productions will be the second Pixar TV project, after Win Or Lose, which will be released later this year.

Inside Out 2 was released in June, and became a bona fide box office smash for Disney and Pixar. Last month it became the top animated film all-time at the box office, topping $1.5 billion.
