Soon, he discovers that not everything is as it seems and must use his particular set of skills to put things right. You can check out the new trailer for Road House above.

Alongside the first trailer for the Road House remake, you can also check out the official synopsis for the movie below. Prepare for legendary fights, brutal bloodshed, massive explosions, epic boat chases and jolts of mischief…

“In this adrenaline-fueled reimagining of the 80s cult classic, ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.”

Released way back in 1989, the original Road House remains one of the best loved action movies of the late, great Patrick Swayze’s career, and even an award-winning, acclaimed actor like Jake Gyllenhaal knows that stepping into his place for the remake will not be an easy thing to do. But he is more than ready for the challenge.

“They’re big shoes to fill, but Patrick was a friend when he was here. He was always so loving and lovely to me. I take that all to heart in playing the role and there are some things I take from him, but generally we made a whole new movie and I’m really excited about it.”
