Kevin Durant and iShowSpeed made an appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, which looks like it was recorded a few months ago and posted Tuesday, based on the subject matter covered within.
During KD and iShowSpeed’s interview with Paul, the group covered J. Cole’s decision to apologize to Kendrick Lamar for releasing his “7 Minute Drill” diss track.
“I thought he was standing on what he said and they had a little sparring session,” 35-year-old Durant shared. “Which, I don’t think it’s anything bigger than just like, ‘I’m better rapper than you.’ Like, it’s not nothing personal, I don’t feel like. So I didn’t think it needed to go that far.”
Durant added, “Maybe it was a lot of noise around, you know, that little, I guess that beef. They all friends, they all know each other. So I’m sure it was a little weird but as a fan of the rap game, I didn’t think it was too crazy with what was going on. I just thought it was just three great artists trying to state they claim as the best.”
