‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ Review: Anya Taylor-Joy Can’t Make This ‘Fury Road’
We shouldn’t be comparing it to ‘Fury Road,’ but we can’t help it either.
Snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers, young Furiosa (Anya-Taylor Joy) falls into the hands of a great biker horde led by the warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth). Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel, presided over by the Immortan Joe. As the two tyrants fight for dominance, Furiosa soon finds herself in a nonstop battle to make her way home.
The Mad Max prequel film is ten years in the making, and that can either help or hurt your viewing experience. Therese Lacson explains in her review: it’s clear that with Furiosa, [George] Miller is trying to tell a different story than the one you might expect. And depending on your expectations, Furiosa could either be an epic origin story for this beloved character, or it can be caught in the shadow of its more stylistic predecessor.

‘The Garfield Movie’ Review: Chris Pratt’s Cartoon Cat Coughs up a Hairball
This movie is worse than a Monday.
Your favorite orange lasagna-loving feline is back in theaters. Starring Chris Pratt (The Super Mario Bros. Movie), Garfield is an animated movie that comes short of being the cat’s meow.
Matt Donato said in his review: Are there cute moments? A handful. How can you not love an adorable fuzzball kitten finding his family or Odie saving Garfield with a novelty-sized string cheese lasso? Nevertheless, the film otherwise buries what works underneath a “kid’s movie” dusted with grated parmesan.
The Garfield Movie
Garfield is about to go on a wild outdoor adventure. After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father – the cat Vic – Garfield and Odie are forced to abandon their pampered life to join Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist.

‘Evil’ Season 4 Review: Everything Good Horror TV Should Be
‘Evil’ Season 4 premieres May 23 on Paramount+ in the U.S.
Evil is a psychological mystery that examines evil’s origins along the dividing line between science and religion. In season 4, Kristen, David, and Ben continue to assess cases involving wayward technology, possessed pigs, demonic oppression and infestation, a dance muse conjured by alleged witches, and an evil relic.
Carly Lane praised the show’s latest season, saying: If this is truly the end, it’s time to celebrate one of the best and boldest TV shows out there, and, based on the four episodes provided for review, Season 4 is already shaping up to be quite the victory lap.
Evil
“Evil,” the 2019 TV series from creators Robert and Michelle King, is a gripping exploration of the intersection between science and the supernatural. The series stars Katja Herbers as Dr. Kristen Bouchard, a forensic psychologist drawn into a world of dark mysteries and unexplained phenomena. ‘Ferrari’

‘Ferrari’ Review: Penélope Cruz Dominates Michael Mann’s Biopic
Also starring Adam Driver and Shailene Woodley, ‘Ferrari’ is Michael Mann’s best film since ‘Collateral’.
Adam Driver stars as Enzo Ferrari in this incredible biopic. The film is set during the summer of 1957 when bankruptcy looms over the company that Enzo Ferrari and his wife had built 10 years earlier. He decides to roll the dice and wager it all on the iconic Mille Miglia, a treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy.
Ferrari started as a passion project for Director Michael Mann (Collateral), as the film has been developing for nearly 30 years. It turns out that the movie was well worth the wait. Driver might be the lead, but make no mistake, Penélope Cruz also shines, delivering one of the best performances of the year best performances. In Collider’s review, Ross Bonaime said: “Cruz’s performance isn’t just the highlight of Mann’s film, it’s also possibly the best performance of her career.”

‘Dune: Part Two’ Review: Timothée Chalamet’s Sci-Fi Epic Is Bigger Than Ever — and That’s Not Always a Good Thing
Denis Villeneuve completes the first part of his epic based on Frank Herbert’s series.
Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi masterpiece Dune: Part Two is finally here. As we return to Arrakis, Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) unites with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen while seeking revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the universe’s fate, he must prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
Based on the iconic Frank Herbert novel, Dune: Part Two brings this massive universe to life in a way you have to see to believe, to the point where it could be seen as too much. Collider’s Therese Lacson said in her review: For those who indulge in complicated worldbuilding and love to explore new fantasy universes, Part Two goes deeper than ever before and warrants a second viewing to get all the details. But for more casual viewers, all those extra details might just end up falling by the wayside as incomprehensible.

‘My Adventures With Superman’: What To Expect From Season 2
The sophomore season is promising: more action, more villains, and even more Kryptonians.
My Adventures With Superman is back with its second season. We’re introduced to Lex Luthor and Amanda Waller as new threats. Clark, Lois, and Jimmy have their issues to deal with as Supergirl enters the fray, proving that there’s at least one other Kryptonian in the galaxy.
Mike Thomas praised the show’s spin on the Superman mythos, saying: Storytelling for god-like beings can be challenging, but by keeping the drama character-driven allows us to be invested without needing to introduce a world-destroying threat every single episode. Superman stories are at their best when they focus on Clark, the man, not Superman, the hero.
My Adventures With Superman
Clark Kent builds his secret Superman identity and embraces his role as the hero of Metropolis, while sharing adventures and falling in love with Lois, a star investigative journalist, who also takes Jimmy Olsen under her wing.
