“You don’t know the power of the Dark side…” Fans clamoring for more appearances of Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader in the Star Wars universe finally got their wish in the Disney+ series, Ahsoka. Christensen first reprises his role (cameo) at the conclusion of Part 4: Fallen Jedi, and then he appears in the entirety of the indelible Part 5: Shadow Warrior. And during an appearance at this weekend’s MEGACON Orlando, Christensen credited creator Dave Filoni with the show’s success and the wonderful response from the fans. Christensen said in a clip on X, formerly Twitter, (via @HChristensenBRA):

“You know, the episode is a really great one, and what Dave Filoni accomplished is really remarkable. Sort of the context of it, and the way it sort of informs Ahsoka’s journey, it’s really clever storytelling. But you know, the response has been really nice. I get people coming up to me on the street just sort of saying like, ‘Ahsoka… episode five.’ And I go, ‘I know… me, too.’ But all the praise should be directed toward Dave Filoni.”

Shadow Warrior has become an indelible part of the Star Wars mythology thanks to a number of factors which include live-action looks at the World Between Worlds and flashbacks to Young Ahsoka (Ariana Greenblatt) and Clone Wars-era Anakin Skywalker’s adventures. And who can forget the armorless version of Darth Vader wielding a red lightsaber? Be sure to check out more of Christensen’s appearance at MEGACON Orlando below:
